Diani Beach – Fly to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

Early morning pickup from your hotel in Diani Beach and transfer to the departure airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy aerial views as you leave the Indian Ocean coast and travel inland toward Kenya’s famous wildlife country. On arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip, meet your professional safari driver-guide and transfer through the reserve or conservancy toward your lodge or tented camp, with wildlife viewing along the way. Check in and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, depart for your first game drive across the Mara’s open grasslands. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalo and, with luck, lions, cheetahs or leopards. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara – Full Day Wildlife Safari

After breakfast, enjoy an extensive day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. The reserve is famous for its broad savannah landscapes, large concentrations of plains game and excellent predator sightings. Your driver-guide will explore productive wildlife areas according to seasonal conditions and recent sightings. Depending on your confirmed programme, the day may be arranged as morning and afternoon game drives with a break at the lodge, or as an extended game drive with a packed lunch. During the day there are opportunities to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo and many species of birds. The Mara is also one of Kenya’s best-known areas for lions, cheetahs and leopards. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara – Final Game Drive – Fly Back to Diani Beach

Enjoy breakfast and, subject to your flight schedule, a final morning wildlife experience in the Masai Mara. This is another opportunity to photograph the landscape and search for wildlife before leaving the reserve. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airstrip and check in for your scheduled return flight to the Kenya Coast. On arrival, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel in Diani Beach, bringing your three-day Masai Mara flying safari to an end.
